FLIGHT: A FEW FLAPS AND A GLIDE

 

 


pelicanus accidentalis:
wing span six and a half feet

plunging bill first
endless flow,
singular to seamless lengths of nine or more
scaling close to the water
sometimes dipping a wingtip

and
economy=all weather, one day
