bridges to nowhere

back out "in the field" today,
stalking heron. caught a few
with the zoom, but needed a telephoto.

humanmade pieces pop in these wetlands,
and these brought alaska to mind.
the assosciation wouldn't have been there
a year or so ago.

  1. I've been studying your photos of the bridge ..... the same bridge in different settings. You didn't carry the bridge from the field to the waters edge did you? LOL .... Jokes aside .... I enjoyed your words and your photos, Nancy.

  4. Your "bridge" reminds me, somehow, of my little one and I noticing places around town "Where The Sidewalk Ends." Just magical.

  10. Hmm...where's my comment? I was sure I left one here! I love bridges, especially old ones that tell the story of days past. Nice pics!
