NOW It's all you have...

"MUCH LOVE BEING SENT TO AN ETERNAL FRIEND", Reb

that's the 'closing' to a message from MY eternal friend Rebecca, who IS part of the "now that i always have", one of many reminders from her. I MISS HER, but to quote more of one of the many, many emails we shared, i record a few that were all part of note intended to give me the name of her above painting in September, 2003, which i now have with me on my wall:
it's titled
"HE WHO JUMPS INTO THE VOID OWES NO EXPLANATION TO THOSE WHO STAND AND WATCH"
jean luc godard.

Reb gave me so much, like: "I try to remember to live in the ocean and not merely be a wave. This does not mean that I don't forget and become the fierce or funny little wave much of the time......to see you again, or not, is not important because your essence and my own are jewels in a larger sky...we exist...always, in our friendship to one another."

'Turning to the One Mind,
I find my Buddhahood,
above self and others,
beyond coming and going,
this will remain
when all else is gone.'

Tanzan (1819-1892)

her birthday, may 21, my friend forever.
aren't i so fortunate?
(a little misty eyed, but fortunate)
so many cups of fresh brewed coffee in the kitchen,
of margarittas on the patio.

{she gave me lessons, memories,
the sense that she's ever here,
especially through an astonishingly brilliant daughter
and grandson ...}

  8. A tender touching tribute -- a difficult gift loss is -- but perceiving the eternity in the gift of the heart shared between friends -- that special bond - you realize there is no death only change.

  9. Dear neva, i am so sorry for the loss of one who is so dear to you.
What a gift to have had your eyes opened to newness and truth.
I am sad for you but know that your home will encircle you with warmth
    and that stillness is good.
    sending hugs, roxanne
(I tried to email you but it wouldn't go through)
